IP Static Routes Help

The IP Static Routes are used to forward IP packets from the Network, where the Quadro is connected, to the specified destination.

The IP Static Routes table displays all created IP static routes with their parameters: Target State for the state of the route (enabled or disabled), Actual State for the state of the route connection (up, down or erroneous), Route To for the subnet where the incoming packets should be routed to and Via IP Address for the router IP address where incoming packets should be routed through.

The Add functional button opens the Add IP Static Route page where a new static route can be created. The Add IP Static Route page consists of the following components:

• The Route To text fields require the IP address and subnet mask for the destination the IP packet should be forwarded to.
• The Via IP Address text field requires the IP address of the router that is to be used for IP packet forwarding to the specified destination.
The IP-Clipboard buttons offers a conveniant possibility to enter IP addresses that have been used before.

Edit opens the Edit Entry page where existing IP Static Routes can be edited.
Delete removes the selected IP Static Routes from the IP Static Routes table.
The Enable and Disable buttons are used to activate and deactivate a selected route(s). At least one route should be selected to use these functions, otherwise the following error message will appears: "No record(s) selected."
Select all selects all records in the table.
Inverse selection inverses the current selection (if no records are selected, clicking on inverse selection will check all records).

Attention: Rule with the longest subnet (smallest IP range) will take effect when having two or more IP Static routing rules with the coincide subnets.
