The FXO settings are used to configure FXO support that allows Quadro to connect to other PBX or analog telephone lines. Depending on the Quadro model, local or remote FXO ports can be available on the board thus giving a possibility to connect several PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network) lines to the Quadro and use them simultaneously.
The number of available FXO ports is dependent on the type of your Quadro.
QuadroM32x has no local FXO ports available. Only shared FXO ports may be listed on this page.
The QuadroM8L/M26x has 8 FXO ports available. The shared lines are also displayed in this page and can be edited here.
For QuadroM32x the FXO Settings page consists of a table that lists the shared FXO lines on the remote devices (if any) and
their settings, it gives additionally a possibility to allow only incoming or only outgoing calls for the selected FXO line.

The administrator may assign a default recipient for each FXO line, where calls from the Central Office (PSTN) will be routed to and who will ring when receiving a call from another or a global PBX. The assigned recipients become the Quadro's "default users". If the administrator assigns the Auto Attendant as the "default user" of Quadro, callers be connected directly to the Auto Attendant menu. To access another extension the caller then needs to follow the Auto Attendant's instructions.
The FXO table shows the extension (or Attendant) for all FXO lines an incoming call is routed to (column Route Incoming Call to), whether FXO service is enabled or not (column Enabled) and which calls are allowed (column Allowed Call Type). If the FXO service is disabled the columns Allowed Call Type, Route Incoming Call to and PSTN Number are set to N/A.
By clicking on the column heading, the table will be sorted by the selected column. After sorting (ascending, descending) arrows will be displayed close to the column heading. If Sharing Mode is enabled and local Quadro provides its FXO lines to the remote device, no FXO lines' settings can be modified on the local Quadro, all shared FXO lines can be only configured from the remote device then. Any modifications in the shared FXO line's settings on the master Quadro will be immediately reflected in the FXO Settings table on the slave Quadro.
The entries of the first column are created as links that open a window where the settings for the selected FXO line may be modified:
