LEDs Help

Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) are used to indicate the QX1000's state by means of the colored lights. LEDs provide information about states of the Network links and the traffic indication on them. See the table below for more information about the LEDs on the QX1000:

1 Power
(Status of the Power Supply)
on: power supply ok
off: no power supply or device is still booting
2 Hard drive activity
(Status of the Hard Drive)
off: no hard drive activity
on or blinking: DVD-ROM drive activity when flashing
3 Two Network activity LEDs
(Status of the Ethernet interface)
on: device is booting
off: no information
blinking: indicates network activity when flashing
4 System Overheat
(Status of the Overheat)
on: indicates an overheat condition, which may be caused by cables obstructing the airflow in the system or the ambient room temperature being too warm.
off: no overheat
flickering: indicates a fan failure
