The Service Pool Configuration is used to create new services with the
appropriate settings (protocol type and port range). New services can be used to
add a restriction or allowance upon creating a new filtering rule.
The table displayed here is a list of all created rules and their parameters.
Each column heading in the table is created as a link. By clicking on the column
heading, the table will be sorted by the selected column. Upon sorting
(ascending, descending) arrows will be displayed close to the column heading.
The Service Pool Configuration page consists of the following
components:
Add
opens the Add Service page to create new services specified by their
Service Name, Protocol (chosen from the correspondent drop down
list) and PortRange.
Note: The system will display a warning if you have defined a port range that collides with standard services used by the Quadro. Saving the new service configuration with the colliding ports may result in breaking build in services!
Edit opens the Edit Service page where service parameters (except for the
service name) can be modified.
Only one service may be selected, otherwise the error message "One row must be
selected"will appear.
Delete removes the selected member entries from the table.
Select all checks all existing table entries.
Inverse Selection inverses the current selection (if no records are selected, clicking on inverse selection will check all records).
