Conference Wizard - Page 1 is used to define the type of extensions created: a conference or an Auto Attendant. Depending on this selection, next pages of Conference Wizard may differ.
If you have selected Conference on the Conference Wizard - Page 1 then the second page of the wizard will contain general information for the new conference to be created. In this case, the Conference Wizard - Page 2 consists of the following components:
Conference ID is used to enter a unique ID for the call conference. This ID will be also used in Conference Server's Auto Attendant to reach the local conference. Digits allowed only. System prevents adding a conference starting with 0 digit.
Subject is an optional parameter used to insert brief subject of the call conference participants will be talking about.
Description is an optional parameter used to insert extra information about the conference.
Moderator Password text field requires a password for the moderator access to the conference. Password inserted here should be used by the moderator to join the conference. Moderator is able to use conference codes during the active call conference as well as to access conference specific GUI pages and coordinate the conference (view/change conference properties, activate/deactivate it, start/stop/resume recording, view conference statistics). Confirm text field requires the confirmation of the Moderator Password. Error appears if the password inserted in the Confirm text field does not match the one inserted in the Moderator Password text field.
Participant Password text field requires a password for the participant access to the conference. Password inserted here should be used by the participant to join the conference. Participant is only able to participate to the call conference according to the permissions configured for it (speaker or listener). Participant also can access conference specific GUI and to view conference properties. Confirm text field requires the confirmation of the Participant Password. Error appears if the password inserted in the Confirm text field does not match the one inserted in the Participant Password text field.
Max. Duration text field allows limiting the maximal duration (in minutes) of the call conference. Leave the field empty to configure the unlimited call conference duration.
Percentage of System Memory drop down list is used to select the Quadro CS memory space (in percents) that can be used for corresponding call conference recording.
Enable Routing Mode checkbox selection enables direct access to the Quadro Network when dialing out a participant during a conference. In this case no "0" prefix need to be dialed before the destination routing number. When this checkbox is selected, any dialed number will be parsed through Call Routing Table.
Leave Active checkbox selection will keep conference active even when all participants have left it.
If you have selected Attendant on the Conference Wizard - Page 1 then the second page of the wizard will contain general information for the new conference to be created. In this case, the Conference Wizard - Page 2 consists of the following components:
Attendant ID is used to enter a unique ID for the Auto Attendant. Digits allowed only.
Description is an optional parameter used to insert extra information about the conference.
Percentage of System Memory drop down list is used to select the percentage of total memory space that can be used for attendant scenario and related voice prompts.
Independent on the extension type selected on the Conference Wizard - Page 1, the Conference Wizard - Page 3 contains conference or attendant related SIP Registration Settings to be configured.
