This page provides information about the extension registration on a SIP
server that is needed to receive external calls. Quadro extensions can perform
calls either locally between the extensions attached directly to Quadro or
externally without being registered on a SIP server. The SIP server registration
is needed to receive external IP calls. All parameters listed on
this page may be modified and submitted:
The RegistrationUserName requires the user name for extension registration on the SIP server. This user name needs to be unique on the SIP server. This field length limited by 20 symbols regarding length and is not limited regarding
the use of symbols.
The text field Registration Password indicates the password for the
extension registration on a SIP server.
The text field Confirm Registration Password is used to confirm the
password. If the entered registration password does not correspond to the one
given in the this field, the error message"The passwords does not
match. Please try again" appears.
The text field SIP Server indicates the address of the SIP
server. The field is not limited regarding symbol usage and length as it can
be either an IP address or a host address (e.g. sip.epygi.com).
The text field SIP Server Port indicates the port number to
connect to the SIP server. The SIP Server Port may only contain digit
values, otherwise the error message "SIP Server Port is incorrect"
prevents saving. If the SIP
server port is not specified, Quadro will access the SIP server via the
default port 5060.
The checkbox Registration on SIP Server enables the SIP server
registration option.
Actual Status field provides information about current extension's SIP registration state and the date/time of the last registration.
The Advanced Settings link moves to the page SIP Advanced Settings page where the SIP server Outbound Host, Port number and UserID can be specified.
