LEDs Help

Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) are used to indicate the QX200's state by means of the colored lights. LEDs provide information about states of the LAN, WAN, FXO/ISDN and USB links and the traffic indication on them. The red LED informs about the system error. See the table below for more information about the LEDs on the QX200:

1 Busy
green
(Status of the CPU)
on: device is booting
off: no load
blinking: activity
2 Info
yellow
(System information)
on: device is booting
off: no information
blinking: event occurred that was specified in Event Management
3 Fault
red
(System status)
on: device is booting/error
off: no error
blinking: system unusable
5 LAN
green
(Status of the LAN interface)
on: link ok
off: no link
blinking: traffic on the link
6 WAN
green
(Status of the WAN interface)
on: link ok
off: no link
blinking: traffic on the link (if there is VERY much traffic on the link, the LED can't blink fast enough and keeps off)
7 Line1
green
(Status of the FXO/ISDN interfaces depending on the Quadro type)
For 2-FXO Quadros:
on: FXO line 1 in use
off: FXO line 1 not in use
blinking: incoming call on FXO line 1

For 4-FXO Quadros:
on: FXO lines 1 and 2 in use
off: FXO lines 1 and 2 not in use
blinking slowly: FXO line 1 or 2 in use
blinking quickly: incoming call on FXO line 1 or 2

For Quadros with ISDN interface(s):
on: one or more (but not all) channels are busy
off: all channels are free
blinking: at least one of the started trunks is disconnected
8 Line2
green
(Status of the FXO/ISDN interfaces depending on the Quadro type)
For 2-FXO Quadros:
on: FXO line 2 in use
off: FXO line 2 not in use
blinking: incoming call on FXO 2

For 4-FXO Quadros:
on: FXO lines 3 and 4 in use
off: FXO lines 3 and 4 not in use
blinking slowly: FXO line 3 or 4 in use
blinking quickly: incoming call on FXO line 3 or 4

For Quadros with ISDN interface(s):
on: all channels are busy
off: free channels available
blinking: at least one of the started trunks is disconnected
LEDs numbering on the QX200 is defined from left to right.
