The PPP/PPTP Settings are used to establish a connection over the DSL link (or any other type of uplink) to the ISP (provider party). A connection is needed to set up and make/receive calls through PPP over Ethernet. The connection may be configured to be set up manually or to be always up. Once a connection has been established between the Quadro and the provider party, Quadro users will be able to make and receive calls at any time.
Advanced PPP Settings link refers to same named page where some parameters concerning the concentration of the data compression can be adjusted. Link is not available when accessing this page through Internet Configuration Wizard.
